Dignity Health - Memorial Hospital in Bakersfield, California is seeking a Patient Registration Representative to ensure a positive patient experience from the point of registration. You will identify patients, collect demographics, verify insurance, determine financial liability, and explain hospital policies and patient rights to families.

Your role requires exceptional customer service, meticulous data accuracy, and strong communication to support patient satisfaction and reimbursement.

Formación

• High School Graduate or GED required with 1+ year in a hospital Patient Registration or related role.
• Experience balancing customer service with accurate data entry and insurance verification.
• Applicable education and/or training can balance lack of experience in payment processing.

Responsabilidades

• Register patients with accurate demographics and verify insurance.
• Enter data into the ADT system accurately and timely.
• Collect payments and explain financial responsibilities to patients.
• Verify benefits, obtain referrals/pre-certifications, and document in ADT.
• Ensure HIPAA, EMTALA and related regulations are followed.
