Job summary

Exceptional Healthcare in Farmington, New Mexico is seeking PRN Front Desk Associates to join our newest facility. You will be the first point of contact, providing essential administrative support and delivering excellent patient service.

You will greet and register patients for ER, Direct Admission and Outpatient Services, verify insurance, maintain charts, answer calls, and coordinate interdepartmental communication. Flexibility for 12-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Previous ER or Patient Registration experience preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance verification and medical terminology.
• Strong organizational and computer skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Availability for 12-hour shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a), weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients for ER, Direct Admission, and Outpatient Services.
• Verify insurance benefits and process payments.
• Maintain accurate patient charts and records.
• Answer calls and coordinate communication between departments.
• Handle administrative duties including deposits and clerical tasks.
