• Maintain policies and professional behavior.
• Monitor registration operations for Inpatient, Outpatient, ER, and Day Surgery.
• Ensure Medicare/Medicaid and other payor criteria are met by physician orders.
• Ensure complete and accurate patient documentation in records/system.
• Ensure POS collections meet established goals.
• Foster patient, associate, and physician satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with laws and protect confidentiality.
• Review performance and provide coaching and training as needed.
• Ensure timely staff communication and input.
• Staffing appropriate to meet patient needs.
• Verify insurance and obtain precertifications to prevent denials.
• Ensure patient safety goals are met.
• Conduct periodic department audits and report findings.
• Conduct petty cash audits monthly.
• Pursue continuous improvement in department operations.
• Collaborate with supervisory team to maintain cohesive leadership.
• Ensure associates have equipment and supplies.
• Perform other duties to meet objectives.
