The successful candidate will bring leadership experience in physician services and ambulatory operations, with a bachelor’s degree in a related field and a preference for a master’s degree.

Qualifications

• Three years of leadership experience overseeing multiple departments or divisions.
• Experience leading Physician Services, hospital operations, ambulatory services, or physician practice operations within an integrated healthcare system or public hospital system is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient access functions across UMC El Paso physician practices.
• Lead scheduling, registration, insurance verification, referral management, and prior authorization processes.
• Collaborate with clinical, operational, revenue cycle, and physician leadership to standardize workflows and improve patient access and satisfaction.
• Interpret and apply access metrics, productivity data, and denial trends to drive improvements.
