In this role, you will be responsible for the successful launch of patient access initiatives of our client within the assigned geographic region. The primary focus of the Patient Access Manager is to ensure that the activities of the patient access specialists contribute to the achievement of the objectives.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop the skill sets and performance of the patient access specialists to achieve or exceed specific business goals. Attract, coach and retain individuals who will ensure high level performance.
• Direct patient access specialists in providing reimbursement education and leveraging patient healthcare information (PHI) for neuroscience products.
• Develop plans that effectively help patient access specialists translate and support the benefits investigation and prior authorization processes for neuroscience products and administration/observation.
• Provide communication and motivation to all members of the district toward delivering the expectations of the customer. Reinforce the value that we are customer‑driven.
• Remain fully versed in compliance regulations including legal and regulatory and ensure the team is equally trained.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in reimbursement, contract strategy, managed care sales, Part B/Medical benefit, and/or healthcare/pharmaceuticals.
• Specialty pharmacy channel experience; CMS policy and process knowledge.
• Current driver’s license in good standing along with the ability to travel overnight up to 75%.
• Must live within the territory or within territory boundaries.

Desired Requirements

• Advanced degree.
• 3+ years in a field reimbursement and access leadership position.
• Experience in CNS therapeutic area.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $180,000 to $190,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include a company car or car allowance and eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and/or individual performance.
