Qualifications

• High school graduate; vocational education preferred.
• Experience in medical ambulatory setting.
• Current CPR certification or obtained within 3 months of employment.
• Proficient typing and comfortable with PCs; knowledge of MS Outlook/Excel/Word preferred.
• Eligible to work in the United States; compliance with health screening.
• Ohio driver license and insurable under Firelands auto policy.
• Successful completion of a 90-day introductory period.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, vendors and visitors, directing them to staff as needed.
• Operate telephone console and route calls; schedule patient appointments.
• Verify insurance coverage and collect co-pays; assist with billing prep.
• Obtain authorizations as needed and manage referrals in the EMR.
• Maintain front-desk areas and patient information with accuracy.
• Support practice sites and ensure timely, complete information flow.
