Job summary

Axiomcareofaz is hiring a Medical Office Receptionist to greet patients and visitors, answer phones, and coordinate with staff to move patients through the intake schedule at the facility. The role is full-time and on-site in Apache Junction, AZ, with days and some weekend shifts.

The ideal candidate will have basic typing speed, strong organizational skills, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Medical office training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Typing at least 30 words per minute.
• Basic office skills including filing and data entry.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors at the front desk and answer inquiries.
• Answer incoming calls and route them to the appropriate staff.
• Assist with patient intake, scheduling, and coordination with facility staff.
• Maintain a neat, organized reception area.
• Assist patients with insurance paperwork and billing questions.
• Sort and deliver mail; manage opening/closing duties.
• Support emergency procedures when required and contact EMS as needed.
• Complete clerical and reporting duties as necessary.
