Job summary

Baptist Health Medical Group in Deerfield Beach is seeking a non-clinical, administrative customer service specialist to support patient access processes and revenue-cycle activities.

You will coordinate patient flow, assist with training and onboarding, and maintain knowledge of insurance requirements and pricing. The role requires strong communication, accuracy, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Patient Access experience or equivalent; ability to perform all Level 1 functions.
• Knowledge of insurance requirements, pricing, and revenue cycle basics.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and perform basic math.
• Bilingual English, Spanish/Creole preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient flow and timely processing within the department.
• Maintain knowledge of Baptist Health South Florida pricing and insurance requirements.
• Support go-lives and departmental initiatives, including onboarding and training.
• Participate in departmental committees and champion opportunities.
