Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills including word processing and data entry.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients to collect and verify demographic and financial data.
• Verify insurance and initiate pre-authorization when required.
• Collect payments and issue receipts; maintain daily deposits.
• Prepare and distribute reports and patient identification items as required.
• Communicate estimated financial responsibility to patients and refer for financial assistance if needed.
