UTMB Health in Galveston seeks a Patient Registration Specialist II for RCO Financial Clearance. The hybrid role supports patients, scheduling, intake, and financial screening to facilitate access and accurate billing.

You will verify demographics, insurance details, and third party payer information; determine financial responsibility; and assist patients with deposit and payment plans while coordinating with treatment teams.

Competenze

• Associate’s degree or equivalent required.
• 3 years’ experience with billing, financial screening, insurance verification, collections, and/or customer service.

Mansioni

• Verify demographics and Third Party Payer information.
• Coordinate financial arrangements including financial screening.
• Communicate with patients, referral sources, and treatment team regarding access and financial issues.
• Assist in determining deposits and potential reimbursement sources.
• Facilitate referrals and prior authorizations.
• Provide information resources to patients and healthcare staff.
