Job summary

Advocate Health in the United States is seeking a full-time front desk patient access/registration specialist in Georgia. The role involves registration, insurance verification, scheduling, cash handling, and ensuring a positive patient experience at the cardiothoracic surgery department.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, computer skills, and prior customer relations experience. Medical Records Software experience and front desk practice are preferred.

• Enters and maintains confidential patient information including insurance and billing details.
• Demonstrates proficiency of emergency codes and applicable healthcare regulations.
• Monitors inventory and stock medications, narcotics, and emergency medications/equipment.
