Job summary

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Basic knowledge of patient throughput workflows and regulations.
  • Proficient in revenue cycle healthcare systems and data entry.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Maintains confidentiality and accuracy in records.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist patients, families, and visitors with professionalism and empathy.
  • Register patients with accurate demographic, insurance, and financial information.
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits; update records.
  • Collect co-pays, deductibles, and deposits; explain financial assistance when needed.
  • Obtain signatures on consent forms and notices; ensure compliance.
  • Maintain accurate data in EMR and registration systems; correct duplicates.
