Job summary

Overlake Medical Center is seeking a Patient Access Coordinator for weekend evening shifts. You will greet and orient patients, collect demographic and financial data, complete registration, and handle payments with attention to hospital policies.

The role is 0.4 FTE with Saturday-Sunday shifts 12:00-8:30 PM. Prior front desk or medical office experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Formal training in medical terminology, hospital finance and customer relations a plus.
• Previous frontline medical office or hospital customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary customer service in greeting and orientation of patients and visitors.
• Interviews patients for demographic and financial data to complete registration.
• Collect payments, obtain signatures, and inform patients of hospital policies.

Position purpose

Responsible for exemplary customer service in greeting and orientation of patients and visitors to the hospital. Interviews the patient for complete demographic and financial data to complete the registration process accurately, efficiently and promptly. Collects appropriate monies, obtains appropriate signatures, notifies patients/guests of hospital regulations, policies and services.

Part Time - Weekend Evening Shifts

0.4 FTE - 8 hour shifts

(32 hours per pay period)

Saturday & Sunday 12:00 - 8:30 PM
