Job summary

Duly Health and Care in Hinsdale, IL seeks a Patient Access Conversion Specialist to support patient access by handling calls, greeting patients, and scheduling appointments. This onsite role operates Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm at the local medical office.

You will verify patient information in EPIC, coordinate with care teams, and help create a smooth, welcoming experience for every patient. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential for success in our physician-led network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three years of patient-facing experience.
• Customer focus with internal and external customers.

• Performs core responsibilities following policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Answer heavy call volumes to fulfill patient needs over the phone.
• Check-in/greeting patients and scheduling appointments.
• Verifies patient information and documents in EPIC.
• Pre-screen patients per departmental protocol.
• Monitor schedules daily to fill open slots the same day.
• Review Daily Appointment Report and prepare charts as appropriate.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Patient Access Conversion Specialist –

Hours: Monday through Friday between 8a - 5pm

Onsite at Local medical Office- Hinsdale

Responsibilities

• Answers heavy call volumes to fulfill patient needs over the phone
• Check-in/Greeting Patients/ Patient Scheduling
• Acknowledges and welcomes patients and visitors.
• Sets the tone for a positive experience
• Check in and schedules appointments, following sleep scheduling protocol
• Verifies patient information, while documenting in their Electronic Health Record (EPIC)
• Performs all otherduties/responsibilitiesas assigned
• Reviewing schedule
• Pre-screen patients based on departmental protocol
• Monitor schedules daily, ensuring that all open slots are filled on the same day.
• Daily monitoring of patient scheduling reports
• Exam Preparation
• Review the Daily Appointment Report and prepare charts as appropriate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Three years of patient/client-facing experience
• Customer Focus: Demonstrates excellence in customer service and satisfaction levels for internal and external customers.

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $16.34 - $24.50 , with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
