Owensboro Health Medical Group is seeking a detail-oriented Clinical Assistant to support Pain Management Muhlenberg. You will register patients, assess needs, schedule tests, and coordinate care with providers, while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.

This full-time role requires basic medical assisting skills, ability to work under pressure, and compliance with ABR-OE and BLS requirements. You will interact with patients, insurance providers, and staff to maintain smooth, patient-centered

Formación

• Requires high school diploma or GED or higher.
• ABR-OE credential within 120 days of 24 months experience.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification within 90 days of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Register patients and schedule appointments using computerized systems.
• Collect vital signs and perform basic diagnostic procedures.
• Assist with patient assessments and treatments under supervision.
• Handle payments, co-pays, and reconcile cash receipts as needed.
• Maintain and clean examination areas and stock supplies.
• Enter and verify data in computer databases and retrieve records as requested.
