Owensboro Health is seeking a Primary Care Owensboro Healthplex team member to handle patient registration, appointments, and scheduling while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. The role involves collecting vital signs, basic diagnostic procedures, and ensuring accurate records and smooth patient flow.

The incumbent will manage payments, coordinate with insurance and external entities, and support admissions and chart requests.

Formación

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Licensure/certification: ABR-OE required within 120 days of 24 months experience in health care.
• BLS Healthcare Provider required within 90 days of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Schedules and reschedules appointments and diagnostic testing using scheduling systems.
• Collects and records vital signs.
• Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.
• Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition and documents care given.
• Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
• Accepts payments and co-pays and reconciles cash receipts as needed.
