Job summary

United-Digestive is seeking an organized front desk/clerical assistant for the endoscopy center. You will check patients in, update information, and coordinate with nurses to ensure timely patient flow and safe ride arrangements home.

The role requires maintaining a neat environment, handling calls, and supporting admission/discharge procedures, with emphasis on accurate data entry and adherence to policy. A high school diploma or MA certification is required, with willingness to expand skills

Qualifications

• High school graduate or the equivalent or MA, certificate.
• Able to follow written and verbal direction involving policy and procedure pertinent to patient care.
• Should possess a willingness to expand range of skills to include minor procedures and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet, assure that nurses are aware that patient is in the waiting area/needs assistant.
• Handle patient and visitors concerns in a courteous manner, relay information to appropriate person.
• Maintain pleasant environment by restocking supplies, maintaining equipment, and promoting a neat area.
• Answer telephone, take and communicate messages to appropriate party.
• Assist with admission/discharge procedures as directed.
