Responsibilities include processing admissions, basic insurance verification, guiding patients through financial options, and maintaining accurate medical records.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Degree or GED; associate degree preferred.
• Knowledge of medical billing procedures.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic coding knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and community in a respectful manner and provide strong customer service.
• Process admission paperwork and basic insurance verification for hospital billing systems.
• Answer internal and external calls in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems promptly.
• Maintain patient flow and inform supervisor of any issues.
• Coordinate scheduling and placement of bed or appointments where applicable.
