Job summary

MedMark Treatment Centers is seeking a dedicated Patient Access/Patient Account Representative to manage patient billing and related records. You will verify insurance, maintain billing data, and contact payers to resolve post-billing issues, ensuring accurate revenue flow and timely payments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of medical billing/office experience.
• Knowledge of Medicaid, PAC and commercial insurance.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient in basic PC skills; Microsoft Word/Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, maintain, and process fiscal/account records and transactions related to patient accounts.
• Verify insurance benefits and billing information by terminal and/or telephone; annotate accounts.
• Contact third-party payers for payment post billing.
• Resolve issues with payment and billing, authorization process.
• Reconcile daily money collected and forward information to expedite payment.
• Maintain accuracy of accounts including demographics, signatures, and correspondence.
• Monitor insurance authorizations and claim rejections; ensure proper documentation.
