Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with office experience.
• Experience with Medicaid and commercial insurance preferred.
• Strong customer service and professional presentation skills.
• Knowledge of medical billing procedures and claims processes.
• Proficient in basic PC skills; Word/Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and process patient accounts and billing records.
• Verify insurance benefits and annotate accounts with coverage.
• Contact payers for payment post billing and resolve payment issues.
• Reconcile daily money collected and forward information to expedite payment.
• Maintain accurate demographics, signatures, and correspondence.
• Support archiving and back‑up receptionist duties.
