Job summary

Prisma Health seeks a front office professional to manage patient registration, pre-certification, and billing processes in the Peds Urology-Patewood practice.

You will greet patients, verify insurance, collect payments, post charges, and assist with outpatient coding and scheduling while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

The successful applicant will support cash handling, daily reconciliations, and coordination with physicians and support staff in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
• Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT coding preferred
• Experience in front-office medical billing or registration a plus
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Handle complete and accurate patient registration and pre-certification
• Post payments, balance day-end reports, and assist with billing
• Greet patients, verify insurance, and manage appointments
• Assist with outpatient coding and scheduling
• Perform collections actions and follow-up on accounts
• Maintain confidentiality and support multiple front-office tasks
