Job summary

GED is required. 1 year of experience in healthcare revenue cycle or related field is essential; 3 years preferred. Epic experience is advantageous for this role.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• 1 year experience in healthcare revenue cycle or related role required.
• 3 years healthcare revenue cycle experience preferred.
• Certification with Healthcare Financial Management Association preferred or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as patient-facing support for the Patient Access Department within Piedmont Healthcare.
• Ensure patient accounts are complete with valid insurance coverage and current demographic/clinical data.
• Calculate patient financial responsibility and present patient financial options/requirements.
• Process patient payments and secure consent on required forms/notices.
