Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare Corporate is seeking a detail-focused Revenue Cycle support professional to act as the front line contact for the Patient Connection Center. You will review accounts for hospital services to ensure completeness before patient arrival, verify insurance, confirm benefits, determine authorization needs, and initiate pre-certifications while estimating pre-service patient liability.

Preferred candidates have 3+ years in healthcare Revenue Cycle, Epic experience, and HFMA or

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year in Healthcare Revenue Cycle or related clerical accounting/finance required.
• 3 years of healthcare Revenue Cycle experience preferred.
• Prior Epic experience preferred.
• Certification with Healthcare Financial Management Association preferred.
• Certified Revenue Cycle Representative preferred.

Responsibilities

• Front line support for the Patient Connection Center within Piedmont Healthcare, ensuring completeness of accounts prior to patient arrival.
• Verify patient insurance and benefits, determine authorization requirements, initiate and obtain pre-certification or authorization, and create estimates to determine pre-service patient liability.
