Qualifications

• 6+ months of customer service experience in an office/hospital setting.
• Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to work a biweekly rotating schedule as described in the posting.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients in person.
• Collect demographic and insurance information.
• Check in and interview patients to complete paperwork.
• Direct patients to their appointment or procedure.
• Assist with scheduling add-on appointments when needed.
• Document issues and resolutions in the electronic medical record.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits information.
• Explain cost information to patients when necessary.
• Collect co-pays or deductibles and discuss financial assistance options.
