• Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Greets and welcomes patients in person, directing them to appointments and procedures.
• Collects and verifies demographic, insurance, and benefits information; obtains signatures.
• Checks in and interviews patients to complete paperwork and financial assistance requests.
• Obtains and explains cost information; collects co-pays and explains financial assistance programs.
• Addresses and resolves claim issues or registration errors; documents resolutions in EMR.
• Provides customer service for inbound/outbound calls; assists in scheduling add-on appointments.
