Job summary

Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center is hiring a Patient Access Representative I, Per Diem, for every other weekend shifts. You will handle patient registration, verify insurance, collect co-pays, and ensure compliance with hospital policies.

The role acts as a liaison among patients, providers and payers to resolve post-care account matters. Days/shifts include every other Saturday and Sunday with 6:00 AM-2:00 PM or 7:00 AM-3:00 PM.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift more than 25 lbs if needed.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and collect/verify required information.
• Assist with insurance verification and collect co-payments.
• Communicate with patients, providers and payers regarding account matters.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance across patient interactions.
• Reconcile and process data entries and payments as needed.
