Job summary

MaineHealth Accountable Care Organization is hiring a Patient Access Associate I for hospital registration. You will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, handling registrations in a fast-paced setting and collaborating with clinical teams to support bedside access when needed.

The role emphasizes accurate data entry, strong customer service, and adaptability to changing schedules. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and prior healthcare or customer service experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Related healthcare or customer service experience preferred.
• Computer and data entry experience required with Microsoft Word and email.
• Ability to work accurately with electronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and provide customer service to visitors and families.
• Work closely with clinical care teams and assist with bedside or clinical access tasks.
• Admit, check in and register patients of all ages in a high-volume environment.
