Job summary

Community Health Network is seeking an Associate Patient Access Representative for the Fam Med Care location on County Line Rd in Greenwood, IN. This on-site role handles front-desk tasks, patient registrations, and financial clearance to ensure smooth visits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years experience in healthcare office setting and/or with strong customer service background preferred.
• Proficient in all types of registrations (inpatient, outpatient, emergency).
• Completes admissions, discharges, and transfers timely when applicable.
• Verifies patient demographics, insurance, and financial information including benefits.

Responsibilities

• Check-ins and scheduling for patients.
• Payment collection and verification of insurance coverage.
• Ensure compliance and prepare patients administratively and financially for visits.
• Verify CMS standards and communicate coverage/eligibility information to patients.
• Maintain accurate electronic health record (EHR) information.
