Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare invites applications for a Patient Access Specialist to support the Patient Access Department in Georgia. You will verify insurance coverage, maintain current demographics, and ensure accounts are complete for accurate billing.

You will calculate patient financial responsibility, present payment options, process payments, and secure consent on required forms/notices. Prior Epic experience and healthcare revenue cycle exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in healthcare revenue cycle or related clerical roles required.
• Prior Epic experience preferred.
• Certification with HFMA or CRR preferred.

• Serve as patient facing support for the Patient Access Department.

• 3 years of healthcare Revenue Cycle experience Preferred
• Prior Epic experience Preferred
