Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare Corporate in Atlanta seeks a Patient Access Support specialist in the Patient Access Department. You will ensure patient accounts are complete with valid insurance coverage and up-to-date demographic and clinical data.

You will calculate patient financial responsibility, present payment options, process payments, and secure consent on required forms, supporting accurate billing and a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• 1 year experience in healthcare revenue cycle or related clerical/finance/retail/customer service.
• 3 years of healthcare Revenue Cycle experience preferred.
• Prior Epic experience preferred.
• Certification with Healthcare Financial Management Association preferred or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative preferred.
