Qualifications

• 1+ year working in customer service, preferably in healthcare.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare processes.
• Proficient use of everyday computer tools and EMR data entry.

Responsibilities

• Schedules appointment times using computerized scheduling programs.
• Communicates with medical staff to ensure facility and staff availability and preauthorizations.
• Informs patients/families of pre-procedure instructions and confirms appointments.
• Intakes demographics, insurance information, and pre-authorizations as needed.
