Qualifications

• 1+ year working in customer service, preferably in healthcare.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems and basic computer tools such as email and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Schedules appointment times using computerized scheduling programs.
• Coordinates with medical and clinical staff to ensure facility availability and preauthorizations.
• Communicates with patients and families to provide pre-procedure instructions and confirm appointments.
• Intakes demographics, insurance information, and pre-authorizations as necessary.
