Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret and apply financial procedures and regulations preferred.
• Previous experience with hospital information systems or word processing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process preadmission and admission demographic and insurance data.
• Enter information in the hospital computer system and maintain data quality.
• Act as liaison between patients, financial counselors and hospital patient accounting; ensure policy compliance.
