Responsibilities

• Pre-Registers and registers patients presenting at the hospital for inpatient and outpatient services.
• Conducts patient interviews, explains hospital policies, and explains patient financial responsibilities.
• Facilitates the patient admissions flow, including patient identification and collection of demographics and insurance information.
• Collects required signatures and documents.
• Provides information on Providence's financial assistance programs.
• Ensures account is financially secured prior to patient leaving registration area.
