Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assigns MRNs, completes medical necessity checks, and processes patient information with accuracy.
• Operates telephone switchboard and maintains high level of patient service and compassion.
• Performs pre-registration, including collecting demographics and insurance details, and explains payment options.
• Verifies eligibility and insurance plans to support billing and clean claim rates.
• Explains consent forms and distributes patient education documents.
• Audits accounts and maintains timely, accurate forms to meet standards.
