Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2 years of medical clerical experience is preferred.
• 2 years of experience in behavioral health care is preferred.
• CPR/BLS Certification required within 30 days.
• First Aid Certification required within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates excellent customer service in person or via phone.
• Completes pre-admission and admission data.
• Works with patients and referral sources for documentation.
• Completes timely insurance verifications and authorizations.
• Identifies process improvement opportunities.
• Observes patient behavior and maintains a clean environment.
• Coordinates patient transports and RHS initiatives.
