You will perform admitting duties, MRN assignments, insurance verification, POS collections, and patient education with a focus on compassionate service and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Must be inquisitive and demonstrate openness to innovation including AI to explore better processes.

Responsibilities

• Admit patients and assign MRNs; collect insurance information; provide patient instructions and process orders.
• Operate the telephone switchboard for calls and maintain professional communication.
• Adhere to policies and provide compassionate customer service in all interactions.
• Meet point-of-service goals and audit accounts for accuracy and timeliness.
• Pre-register patient accounts and collect demographic, insurance and financial information.
• Explain consent forms and distribute patient education documents to patients.
• Review eligibility responses and input benefit data to support POS and billing processes.
• Screen medical necessity using ABN software and advise patients of potential non-payment.
