Job summary

Sagora Senior Living is seeking a Memory Care Director to manage the Pathways program across our Heritage Place community in Burleson, TX. You will lead the Memory Care team, ensure resident safety, and coordinate Alzheimer’s/dementia programming to enhance daily living and engagement.

Responsibilities include supervising caregivers, organizing events, communicating with families, and maintaining quality care within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in gerontological studies or recreation programs preferred.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Publisher, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience in memory care or Pathways programming preferred.
• Willingness to work evenings/weekends for events.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Memory Care (Pathways) department.
• Maintain Memory Care resident safety and security.
• Hire, train, and schedule MC caregivers to ensure resident needs are met.
• Oversee, coach and train MC caregivers and lifestyle team.
• Facilitate programming to meet needs of residents with Alzheimer’s/dementia.
• Plan and organize daily events and calendars.
• Communicate with residents, families, and associates.
• Coordinate volunteer program and community outreach.
• Operate program within budget and act as MOD as assigned.

Memory Care Director (Pathways Director)The Memory Care Director manages the overall operations of the community Memory Care program in accordance with resident needs, government regulations, and Sagora Senior Living policies and procedures.
