Job summary

Sagora Senior Living is seeking a creative Lifestyle Director for Lynridge of Huntsville. You will plan and implement activities tailored to each resident, maintain the monthly calendar, and coordinate transportation for events and appointments.

Responsibilities include assisting with move-ins, leading the Community Resident Council, supervising the on-site store, and managing events within budget. Availability for evenings and weekends is required for special events.

Qualifications

• Degree or certification in gerontological studies, recreation, or related program.
• Ability to plan and coordinate activities for seniors.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement resident activities according to needs of residents.
• Maintain the monthly activities calendar and assist Marketing Director with community newsletter.
• Coordinate resident transportation for needs including activities, shopping, and doctor trips.
• Assist with new move-ins and perform new resident orientation.
• Establish and coordinate the Community Resident Council and attend all meetings.
• Supervise and operate the community's store.
• Listen and respond to resident problems, complaints, suggestions, and ideas regarding activities.
• Coordinate use of all volunteers and document history with photographs and scrapbooks.
• Operate activities within budget and serve as MOD as assigned.
