Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina invites applications for a Pathway Program Manager to provide leadership across the College of Medicine’s pathway program portfolio. Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to lead multiple programs and projects, establish priorities, manage timelines, and evaluate results.
• Proficiency with database management, data quality practices, spreadsheet analysis, reporting tools, and common office productivity applications.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills for engagement with students, families, educators, community partners, and institutional leaders.
• Ability to organize and support in-person and virtual programs, presentations, and events using appropriate technology.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, including the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Manages the planning, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of pathway programs that engage students at multiple education levels.
• Serves as primary College of Medicine Dean’s Office contact for school counselors, pre-health advisors, and partners.
• Oversees program calendars, materials, communications, and resources with quality standards.
• Develops and executes information sessions, programming, ceremonies, and training for student leaders.
• Leads on-site program events and ensures staffing and operational support, including some evenings/weekends.
• Creates and maintains program reports to document participation, outcomes, and opportunities for improvement.
