Job summary

Workforce Solutions of West Central Texas Board staff is seeking a Pathway Initiatives Specialist to coordinate work-based learning opportunities and help develop career pathways across the West Central Texas region.

You will work with school districts, higher education institutions, employers and community partners to expand career-connected learning, strengthen regional workforce initiatives, travel as needed, and contribute to student preparation for high-demand careers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in education, workforce development, program coordination, partnership development, or related field (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university (preferred; relevant experience may substitute year-for-year)
• Willingness to travel throughout the region; valid driver’s license and insurance required

• $46,000–$52,000/year | $3,833.33–$4,333.33/month | DOQ

WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:

• Has strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
• Has 3+ years of experience in education, workforce development, program coordination, partnership development, or a related field (preferred)
• Has a bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university (preferred; relevant experience may substitute year-for-year)
• Is willing to travel throughout the region | Valid driver’s license and insurance required
