• Doctoral degree in medicine required with MI State license.
• AP/CP certification is mandatory for this position.

Responsibilities

• Perform various pathology procedures including surgical and clinical pathology.
• Interpret Bone Marrow Aspirate/Biopsy, Cytology, and Autopsy.

Job description

Our client is seeking to add a Physician Pathologist to their team.

Job Details:

• Location: Saginaw, MI
• Duration: Ongoing
• Start Date: October 1
• Shift: M-F, 8:00am - 5:00pm
• Call Schedule: Weekly (alternate week), starting Friday at 5:00 pm and ending the following Friday at 8:00 am

Required Procedures:

• Anatomic Pathology: Surgical Pathology, GI Pathology, GU Pathology, Neuropathology, Dermatopathology, Hematopathology (Bone Marrow, Lymph Nodes); interpretation of Bone Marrow Aspirate/Biopsy, Cytology, Autopsy
• Clinical Pathology: Hematology, Microbiology, Chemistry/Serology, Blood Bank

Travel and lodging expenses are covered.

Qualifications:

• Doctoral degree in medicine
• MI State license required
• AP/CP certification required
