The candidate is expected to be proficient in general surgical pathology, cytology, and clinical pathology. Applicants with fellowship training in gastrointestinal pathology or 2-3 years of experience in surgical pathology are preferable, but new graduates are also encouraged to apply.
The candidate should be proficient in general surgical pathology, frozen sections, cytology, and clinical pathology. Autopsies are not performed. The surgical pathology service accession approximately 20,000 cases annually.
