Job summary

Regions Hospital is seeking a Pathology Support Coordinator to provide operational support to the pathology team. You will coordinate case workflow from accession through final reporting, manage case distribution, external consults, and material tracking within the LIS.

The role requires coordinating between pathologists, laboratory staff, and clinical teams to ensure accurate, timely and compliant handling of pathology materials.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in biology, healthcare, or related field.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience with computer systems and laboratory software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate case workflow from accession through final reporting.
• Distribute pathology cases and coordinate external consults.
• Track materials and document in LIS.
• Support communication between pathologists, lab staff, and clinical teams.
