HealthPartners is seeking a self-motivated Pathologists’ Assistant to join Regions Hospital's Histopathology Department. The successful candidate will perform anatomic gross tissue analysis, assist PT in patient report preparation, and ensure quality assurance of pathology records.

Regions Hospital’s Histopathology Department is currently seeking a self‑motivated, quality‑focused Pathologists’ Assistant to join our team.
A Pathologists’ Assistant is a professional who is qualified by academic and practical training to provide service in anatomic pathology under the direction of a qualified Pathologist who is responsible for the performance of the Assistant. As a Pathologists’ Assistant at Regions Hospital, you will join an innovative and collaborative group of professionals.
As a Pathologist’ Assistant you will:
FTE: 1.0 (40 hrs. weekly) Day Shift
Education:
Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Pathology Assistants study
OR
Baccalaureate degree with a major or minor in any of the biological or allied health sciences and 3 years of Pathologists’ Assistant on the job training required.
Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
Certification as a Pathologist Assistant by the American Association of Pathologist Assistants (AAPA) or American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) within 15 months of hire.
Experience: At least one year of experience as a certified Pathologists’ Assistant
