Job summary

Pathlink is seeking a full-time Medical Director to supervise the Department of Pathology and Clinical Laboratory Services located in Ashtabula, Ohio. PA support on site to perform grossing laboratory front office support.

The role requires an MD/DO with Board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and an Ohio Medical License, with at least 2 years of experience as a Laboratory Director; leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with Board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
• Ohio Medical License.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Laboratory Director.
• Hematopathology experience is a plus.

• General Surgical Pathology Practice
• Participation in Tumor Board and On-Call coverage
• No autopsies

Requirements:

• MD./D.O. with Board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
• Ohio Medical License
• Experience in hematopathology a plus
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Laboratory Director
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Critical and strategic thinking
• Experience in medical staff functions, working knowledge of hospital operations, quality improvement and strategic planning
• The ability and desire to interact with medical center physicians, hospital administration and laboratory staff
