Job summary

Pathlink located in Las Cruces, New Mexico, seeks a full-time Medical Director to supervise the Department of Pathology and Clinical Laboratory Services. PA support on site assists with grossing and front office duties in a safe, appealing location.

The role covers general surgical pathology with participation in Tumor Board and on-call coverage, and explicitly no autopsies. MD/DO with board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology is required, along with an Ohio Medical License and

Qualifications

• MD/DO with Board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
• Ohio Medical License.
• Experience in hematopathology is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Laboratory Director.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Critical and strategic thinking.
• Experience in medical staff functions, hospital operations, quality improvement and strategic planning.
• Ability to interact with medical center physicians, hospital administration and laboratory staff.
