Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; business school preferred.
• Medical terminology knowledge desirable.
• Experience in lab support or clerical roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies and reports concerns.
• Prepares specimens and completes requisitions for send-out to reference labs and consultations after pathologist review.
• Presents billing and insurance information and H&P; logs and scans specimens.
• Prepares and logs reports into EMR for reference lab tests.
• Supports tumor board presentations by gathering slides and printing reports.
• Routes doctor’s orders and test results to staff; distributes materials as needed.
