Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years attendance at an accredited college or technical college with emphasis in science/medical field preferred.
• 1-3 years customer service experience required.
• Medical, laboratory, healthcare, or specimen-processing experience preferred.
• Data entry or LIS experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and follow procedures; work independently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Commitment to quality and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Process and prepare laboratory specimens with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Verify specimen integrity and documentation to meet testing requirements.
• Perform data entry and documentation within laboratory information systems.
• Track, receive, and ship specimens with proper handling and storage.
• Communicate professionally with clients, providers, and internal teams.
• Support quality, regulatory, and compliance requirements in a regulated lab environment.
• Assist with inventory management, equipment maintenance, and departmental organization.
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as scheduled.
