Job summary

ConnectedHealth seeks an experienced Laboratory Supervisor for a full-time permanent position with a healthcare partner in Butler, PA. You will lead daily clinical lab operations, manage staffing and productivity, and ensure compliance, quality, and patient safety.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field, PA supervisor qualifications, and ASCP MLS/MT certification or equivalent. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related science.
• Must meet PA clinical laboratory supervisor education and experience requirements.
• ASCP MLS/MT certification preferred; equivalent certification accepted.
• Previous clinical laboratory experience required.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory quality control, compliance, testing procedures, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily clinical laboratory operations and support a team of professionals.
• Oversee workflow, staffing, scheduling, and department productivity.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of laboratory testing.
• Maintain compliance with CLIA, PA Department of Health, OSHA, and applicable standards.
• Monitor quality control, QA, proficiency testing, and laboratory performance.
• Assist with inspections, audits, documentation, and corrective action plans.
• Develop, review, and maintain laboratory policies and procedures.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate laboratory staff.
